Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts athlete fighting for the UFC in the Flyweight Division is currently in Kyrgyzstani. Antonina was offered the UFC deal following her win. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight by an unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat and beat Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The bout earned Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko was defeated by Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
