Alinity Divine
Alinity appeared in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who has filed the lawsuit against Twitch, seeking damages that amount to $25 million. He claimed that the website exposed him to explicit sexually explicit material from female streamers. According to court records discovered through Dexerto, the plaintiff, who has previously sued Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, filed his formal complaint in court on June 15 seeking to file a lawsuit, and Twitch itself was issued an official summons on the 19th of June. Estavillo is one of the men who, according to his complaint in Santa Clara Superior Court of California that was filed on the 15th of June has been diagnosed with obsessive/compulsive issues including sexual addiction as well as other health issues that force him to rely solely upon the internet for entertainment. The complaint also claims Twitch is a major cause of these issues. The complaint went on to name a few female streamers it claims "continues to provide viewers with a wide range of content that they just want to see gamers playing games on Twitch and instead are confronted with sexually addictive content and content on a consistent regularly and daily basis." With the exception of Alinity and others, they include those who have requested relief. the complaint seeks to have all streamers mentioned above to be permanently barred in violation of Twitch's TOS along with $25 million dollars "to be divided between the plaintiff and the other Twitch Prime Turbo Subscribers," with any leftover going to various charities.
